Characters

Ye Xiao (The Smiling Monarch) – The Smiling Monarch. He was killed attempting to avenge his bothers when he fought the Three Great Clans. Somehow or another, he managed to reincarnate into the body of the Young Master of the Northern General.

Ye Xiao (Young Master) – Lecherous, despicable, he was a full-on playboy who would waste away his time on alcohol and women. He ended up being poisoned to death during one night, following which the Smiling Monarch then reincarnated into his body and the story begins.

Lan Langlang – The son of the Southern General. He is Ye Xiao’s die-hard buddy, hanging out together since they were young. He’s unfortunately very pitiful, and a debauchee same as the original Young Master Ye Xiao.

Zuo Wuji – Somewhat of an antognist towards Ye Xiao and Lan Langlang. Ended up in dire straits when he sold his father’s precious Profound Jade Ruyi. Together the three are known as The Capital’s Three Young Masters.

Princess Yeyue – She is Young Master Ye Xiao’s Fiancée. Known throughout the capital for her beauty and gentleness. She actually becomes a tigress when dealing with the Young Master Ye Xiao. She’s resentful of her fate and marriage being decided by her parents, as well as her eventual husband being a hopeless debauchee. However, aside from her furious temper and menacing threats, she does still somewhat care for the Young Master.

Ye Nantian – The Northern General of the Chen Empire. He is Young Master Ye Xiao’s cheapskate father. However when it comes to those under his command, he is a Great General who deeply cares about his soldiers, even willingly to offer residence and work for those who were crippled in the war

General Lan – Father of Lan Langlang. He is the Southern General. Like his counterpart, the Northern General, he is always busy and away from home. Unable to accompany his son most time son the year. He has a stuttering problem.

Minister Zuo – Zuo Wuji’s father. He nearly bat his son to death when he found out his son had sold his Profound Jade Ruyi. He is apparently a very talented and intelligent minister.

Sage God – Apparently Strong.

Ning Biluo – Apparently the number one assassin of this secular world.
